It's red and it's itty bitty and very cute. It's new and NEVER been used. I received it for my b-day, but the fact of the matter is, I missed the technology train years ago and haven't been able to catch it since. Apple made the directions easy enough, with pictures and such, but the what/where/how to purchase music online seems like a year long project I don't have another day or dime for. So it's all yours! :) That sums up the pearl, now comes the poop: It has my name ingraved on it. BUT, it's really tiny, and if by chance, you can't see well, it shouldn't bother you. Seriously, I don't know how they got it on there that small, but there might be a way to get it off- not sure. Anyways, happy to give it away if you'd like to have it. :)

I just discovered that The Neighborhood School is in need of bookshelves for their Book Warriors Club which is a club that, contrary to the name, is teaching the kids about financial literacy through the sale of books on amazon.com. Its a great program, but they need some book shelves.

Midtown Roommate

Anyway, I moved into a 3 BR 2 BA house a few months ago in midtown hoping that I would be able to make it easy for someone else who was thinking about making a move toward the city to do just that. I have plenty of space, I'm in walking distance to Overton park, all kinds of restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. If you, or anyone you know, is looking to move into midtown with a roommate then let's connect. Rent is negotiable and a long term lease isn't necessary.

Two friends in our community have recently been offered a job out of state. Because they are deeply rooted in our church, this move is monumental for their family. At this point only the husband has been to the new city in which they would live. I would like to request on their behalf that Northwest Airlines frequent flyer miles be donated so that they could make the trip together to aid in their discernment process. Paying for this trip out of pocket would be nearly $1000. They do not know we are requesting miles on their behalf to make the trip.
