As a lot of you already know, I have been helping a lady I work with after loosing everything in a house fire.

Ever since the house fire everything seems to be going wrong and she is in desperate need of groceries and household supplies, such as laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner etc.

Please allow me to fill you in on her situation.

She received a phone call in the middle of our shift at work about a month ago that her house was on fire. When she returned to work 2 days later, I asked her if everything was ok and she let me know she lost everything.

Her husband has been ill and approx 2 weeks after the house fire was let go at his job.

Her husband went in for surgery 2 days ago 03/12/08 and due to complications was put in ICU on a breathing machine.

And today 03/14/08 she no longer works with me because she was fired.

We were both hired in just before Christmas as seasonal employees, the company has a no tolerance policy for abscences.
