I am so sorry to hear that! If it's any conselation, my hubby (Jeff) and I know exactly what you're going through. When we first moved into our house (6 1/2 yrs. ago), Jeff was working for MCI World Com (anyone remember THAT company). He was able to avoid the first couple rounds of lay offs (the very first one was four months before Christmas) but about one year and 6 months later (5 years ago....our kids were 7 yrs. the other was only 6 *months*), he got the cut. Was out of work for three months. He was lucky enough to have some serverence pay but it wasn't enough and things started to fall behind.

It was a long road but we're ok now. (By the grace of God). Just wanted you to know we've been there. I'll definately keep you guys in prayer.

Prayers are with you. What a perfect time to really get to know God - during your rough times. Lean on your faith here and pray continously and great rewards will follow. Similar situations have happened to me and when I thought I wouldn't make it, God made a way! I heavily relied on him through faith and prayer - and remember those times to get me through the next! Two things that always help me as well....1) "this too shall past" and 2) God doesn't give you anymore than what you can handle. Besides you always meet so many more people going through the same thing that reminds you you're never alone and it could be a lot worse! Good Luck to both families.
