....that this political season has taken it's toll.
I just got home from the store. I didn't have my cell phone on me (**collective gasp**) so I didn't know what time it was. So, here I am, in the middle of the store aisle, pushing my cart, jean jacket on, purse thrown over my shoulder and I stop this random woman walking by me and politetly ask:
"Excuse me, ma'am. Do you have the time?"
She gives me this blank look. I respond to her look by give a confussed one of my own. She then matches my own confussed look then answers after a few moments:
"Time for what?"
"Of day" I answer dryly with a smirk on my face.
She laughs and tells me that she thought I was going to ask her a few questions. I assured her I wasn't and she informed me she didn't have the time herself.
I walked away shaking my head. Confirmation - once again - of a political season that has LONG over stayed it's welcome!
BTW....I shared that story with you all JUST so we could all have a little laugh about it. In NO way shape or form am I trying to get a political discussion going on!:-) So no one get any ideas!:-) I think I can speak for at least the majority when I say - we're sick of hearing about politics and wish all the talk and ads would take a long extended holiday!:-)

how true!!!
this is a big election and there has been so much going on with it. I will be glad when it is over and done with. I am tired of hearing about it as well. Too much slamming and bashing going on...not very appealing to me. I think we need change, vote from your heart and go with who you think would be the best choice for our future....all the rest, sheesh....time to move on to something else now. This is old and tiresome listening to.
Thanks for sharing your story, I laughed so freaking hard...it is sad but, so true!!! Time for change including change of topic around the world :)
