Hello Everyone,
We were able to make it to my family to attend my sisters funeral and say our final goodbyes. Thank you all for the love, support and prayers it means a lot to me and I will never forget it.
Right now I am trying to help my father with the funeral expenses. He is elder and disabled on a fixed income which does not leave much in the way of "spending money" He is married and his wife does work however, her income is just barely making monthly expenses.
I am trying to organize a fundraiser. The goal in the end is to raise as much as possible to alleviate things for them some. My parents are still not over my other sister passing and now to go through it again, they are not coping well at all. their minds are wandering, stress is so high and I just want to help them out some.
I have never organized a fund raiser nor do I know how to go about getting companies etc to help out. If anyone has any experience raising funds, please send me a message. Any ideas, suggestions, leads ANYTHING is appreciated.
The total we need for it to be totally paid off is $4,500.00
Yes, I know that is BIG MONEY but they cut all costs as much as possible it was the most basic everything offered.
Thanks for reading and any help anyone can provide
Fund Raiser
I know that Krispy Kreme and Anthony Thomas Candies does fund Raisers. They will let you sell thier products for fund raisers. Also you might try a yard sale.GOOD LUCK!!
thanks for the suggestions
I appreciate your input. I will get in touch with both companies and see what comes of it.
Yard sale...I have so much stuff but, my yard is not really a yard and there is no room to set up out front. If I could find a place to hold a sale, I know it would be a success.
My father gave me a bunch of my sisters things to sell to help raise funds but with not having a camera to take pics to sell online and no yard to have a yard sale in, this is proving to be quite difficult.
It is all nice good quality name brand stuff but not moving without pictures :(
money is probably tight for everyone right now
or at least most people. I know Party lite is real big on fund raisers. There really is so much you might can try. Maybe a bake sale with your church? I don't know.
