Baby gifts??
September 7, 2008 - 8:12pm — norretMy niece and nephew are expecting soon (SARRON). I have been out of town and cant wait to meet the new arrival. But since I was outta town , I now need to buy baby gifts. Was wondering -what are some of your favorite baby gifts to get or recieve?

The nessecities. Baby
The nessecities. Baby soap/shampoo, recieving blankets, sleepers, wash cloths, towels, binkis (pacifiers), bottles, burp cloths, etc....
I would say diapers but you never really know what a baby's bottom will accept or reject until after they've worn a brand or two. Ok....I guess one could take that last comment in a couple of different ways....
Agree - - necessities!!!
Having just had our son in May, I would have to agree with the necessities. I am most grateful for the diapers. Unquestionably Pampers by far have been the best. Other than that and as mentioned above, onsies have been good! Also, a popular meaningful gift we appreciated was good books (Bible stories, Dr. Suess, etc). While not quite a necessity, they proved to be very precious to us.
