May I say - because I'm going to anyway - that I HATE direct/satellite tv! 98% of the time when we get even the *slightest* bit of a shower outside - it loses it's signal! This time around, it just happened to be a slight shower. No big deal. However, many times when it comes up a bad storm and you need to check out any watches and/or warnings....it searches for a signal for about 5 to 20 min.!

I'm not trying to sound petty nor take anything for granted because I know there are those out there who are having a very tough time putting food on the table let alone to even have the CHOICE of whether or not to have cable or satellite installed. We used to be in those very difficult situations ourselves so I'm really not trying to come off like this satellite thing is some huge crisis. I know it's not - I'm just tired of us paying for something that I honestly don't think is worth the money. I don't know if anyone else has it and has any of these problems or if we're just special. The only reason we even have this stuff is because Jeff is a BIG Steelers fan and they have a contract with direct tv which basically says (something like) only direct tv will broadcast ALL the steelers games. Apparently no other satellite company nor cable company has those exclusive rights. Gee....luck us.:-/
