Prayers for me please

I usually would not ask but I need to pull prayers from anywhere at this point. Last year I had surgery on both of my knees. I have Chondromalacia & Arthritis and basically have no cartilage left. Earlier this month my ortho surgeon told me that I am a PRIME candidate for knee replacement but feels I am too young as well. My knee pain has been so bad this week that at night I can't hardly move. I had been maxed out on Cortizone shots and had to stop taking the steroids (because my mucles got too big - LOL) So... when your talking to the big guy tonight say a little one for me if you don't mind.

you git it!

I will say a prayer for you. My friends grandmother just had double knee replacement surgery and is still recooping from it...still too early to know how it turned out.
I will certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers tonight and always. I hope it works out for you and you are feeling better real soon! Hugs and lots of love coming your way!

prayers

Connie,

I will certainly keep you in my prayers and hope your knee pain eases quickly. I also wanted to ask if you have ever heard of Corvalen? Or D-Ribose? My doctor started me on it last month. It is a powder that you mix in juice or beverage, 2 to 3 times a day. Ribose is something your body already creates, some people more than others. It increases your energy and has been found to be of great help with fatigue and pain for those with Fibromyalgia/CFS like me. I have suffered for over 16 yrs with agonizing knee and leg pain. When I started taking the Corvalen/Ribose I cried for days because for the first time in those 16 yrs, I was able to get up, function and go all day at work in NO pain. It's been unbelievable! I have tons of info on it and if you do a search for "Anyone ever used Corvalen?" it should bring up a link to the Ebay forum I am in where tons of people have been posting about their experience with Ribose. The only thing I know to be careful of is that you need to talk to your doctor about it if you are diabetic/hypoglycemic or have gout. Other than that there are no medication counteractions whatsoever. I do think it would be a great help to you from what you said. Let me know and I will pass along all the info I have on it for you. It has been an absolute miracle to me.

Take good care,
Pamela

I would LOVE to have some information on it. In each of my surgeries I had the gel injected to act as a cartilage and in my last MRI in early February it has already broken away. I will not take the narcotics so any other alternatives I would love to hear about. Please email me when you can.
