Well folks, I have to apologize for skipping our Weekly Wrap Up last week. Its been a crazy two weeks for me and I missed it completely. So today you get the unbelievable opportunity to get TWO Weekly Wrap Ups for the price of one!
As some of you probably suspect, the past two weeks were huge for the Twoshirts community. We reached several milestones:
- We had our single biggest traffic day yet on February 13, with 361 visits by 204 visitors.
- 7 of the last fourteen days have seen over 200 visits. To put that in perspective, in the last week of January we were averaging about 75 visits each day.
- We now have Twoshirts members in 28 different states, and have broken the 300 member mark in Ohio!
- The contest for most invitations seems to be heating up! Can Brian Stevenson hold onto his lead? Remember, the contest ends this Friday, so get busy inviting folks! It's still not too late to win this thing!
- Please note that user MiamiDolphinsFan has taken it upon herself to help out a neighbor whose house burned down. Please consider helping out if you can.
- Also, user dodgert70 has posted two cats, which brings up an interesting issue about posting animals. I'm okay with posting animals who need a home (that's a very good thing!), but please follow dodgerts lead and include a good description of why you're giving an animal away so everybody knows what's going on. Thanks dodgert for setting a good example with this!
- Lots of people have been asking about how to close out their items after a giveaway, so I posted instructions here, in case you haven't seen it yet.
- You may have noticed I added a "category links" section to the blog so you can find the kinds of articles you want to read. This will be pretty handy as the blog posts add up.
- Speaking of the blog, I posted an article this week and would love your feedback. From now on I'll be posting articles like this on occasion that reflect the values and mission of the Twoshirts community. I hope their helpful, inspirational to you as you seek to cultivate a life of generosity!
That's all for now! I have to say I feel incredibly privileged to be part of a group of people like this one. Your generosity and kindness with one another is knocking my socks off. Keep it up!
